The Essex Collection of Art from Latin America relies on external funding to support its programme of events and activities. By supporting ESCALA you can help us to increase awareness and appreciation of art and artists from Latin America. This in turn reinforces the University’s founding aim to be international, interdisciplinary and inclusive and to ‘dispel prevailing prejudice and ignorance’ of Latin America (Sir Albert Sloman, founding Vice-Chancellor, BBC Reith Lectures, 1963).
